Paris Nights

This was one of my favorites nights of fashion month, the stars aligned for a perfect evening in Paris: Front row with Net-A-Porter at Jacquemus. The stunning Les Santons de Provence collection only made more striking by it's theatrical presentation.

The music, lighting, staging and choreography, was transportive. And by the end of the show the audience exited into a surreal pink backdrop over the Jardin des Tuileries and Eiffel tower. A mood that can only be captured in Paris.

Simon Porte Jacquemus showed us the romance of the French countryside. Silhouettes with raised, broad shoulders, accentuating a slim feminine waist. Gathered, pleated, voluminous fabrics and masculine oversized trousers. I adore his use of proportions and gender to create works of art and beauty.

Special thanks to my date, Marcos Batuecas and Net-A-Porter for a magical evening!
